In the bedroom “Châteaubriand” a unique statuette is waiting for you. Stamped “Christofle et Cie” this statuette seems to be writing as well as contemplating. With its writings (“Agriculture” and “1867”), this statuette seems to be a direct allusion to the participation of this very same house to the Universal exhibition of 1867.
The Chateau has a lot of pictures. Among them the portrait of Countess du Bois de la Motte. This picture is hanging the Music lounge. You can admire it while visiting the castle or spending a night as our guest.
The bread oven restoration work goes on.

Le Château de Cabnisy has a beautiful collection of ancient books. Today we present a first extract of “Galerie des modes et costumes français 1778-1787” (= Collection of french costumes) with “La robe de cour à la française” (= The French court dress).
