To continue with our seasonal products, we recently harvested walnuts from the walnut trees in the chateau’s gardens.
Our glasshouse, classed as an Historic Monument, is being restored in the chateau’s gardens. Once done, it will welcome different kinds of vegetables or fruits. It’s up to the gardener to choose !
Another batch of apples is growing in the chateau’s orchard… Any suggestions on what the chef should do with it ?

Too many apples in the chateau’s orchard? Not a problem! Our chef prepared some homemade applesauce and we now have enough jars to get through winter with homegrown fruits to go with some foie gras or a classic, but ever so comforting, homemade apple pie (And surely enough for you to come and taste it!)
The animals from the chateau’s menagerie are enjoying the autumn weather, especially our fallow deer ! Come and say hi to him and others or have a walk in our 800 acres gardens.

Every day, we get fresh eggs from the hens at the château’s farm. What will they become ? Scrambled eggs for a relaxing breakfast, or maybe used in a cake for a delicious dessert to finish a candle-lit dinner… It’s up to our guests to choose !
